It’s a long weekend guys! Time to celebrate!
Now, i’m going to try and not oversell this to you. But these are by far the greatest brownies I have ever had!
Gooey, naughty and will keep you up after midnight if you eat them late. The chocolate is pretty intense!
Perfect for serving this bank holiday or any holiday at that!
200g Bourneville Chocolate (I’ve tried with other chocolate and still found this to be the winner!)
150g caster sugar
145g unsalted butter
40g Plain Flour
Oreos (preferably double stuffed)!
Breakup your chocolate into a pan and chunk up the butter. Place over a low heat (ensure not to burn) and slowly stir.
When it all comes together remove from the heat and leave a few minutes to cool slightly.
In the meantime, whisk your eggs and sugar together until pale and fluffy.
(I couldn’t live without my Kitchen Aid)
Carefully mix the chocolate with the egg mixture then sift the cocoa and flour and stir to combine.
Put half the brownie mix in a grease proof lined tray, assemble your Oreos on top then, cover with the remainder of the mix.
Place in your oven for 15 minutes.
In the meantime, cut your marshmallows in half.
When your times up, place marshmallows on top and put back in the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
Now for the hard part..
Remove from the oven and allow another 15 minutes to cool whilst in the pan (if you take them out too early, they will lose their shape)!
Now, you can finally cut off a manageable chunk and devour!
Happy Bank Holiday!!
